President Obama sprinkled some more money from Heaven his Stash. The Work Now program offered by the WKWIB subsidizes the wages of unemployed parents for a two month period. Julie Andrews claims these employees are ‘free’ to the employers who hire these temporary workers but this is not true and it never will be true. First of all, the five million dollars used to fund this program had to be confiscated from other businesses that haven’t failed yet. There is no net economic gain to moving money from one pocket to another; in fact this transaction results in a net loss because the government takes a dollar from Company A and gives a dime to Company B. Second, companies don’t need help in finding employees. Human Resources is already jammed full of job applications that will never get interviewed because they have no plans to hire for the foreseeable future. Companies only hire new employees when there is demand for new product and not a moment sooner. If the Democrats were interested in creating jobs they could do so at the stroke of a pen.

Kneel before the One
Obamacare is not about providing better health care to anyone. It will be the vehicle through which the government gains control of everything including your own living body. Living under Obamacare will mean a bureaucrat decides whether your children will be born. A bureaucrat will decide what medical treatments you will receive. A bureaucrat will decide when you die.
A patient under Obamacare will no longer be a freeborn citizen but they will be serfs subject to the will of the State.
If you think this is alarmist rhetoric and overblown you haven’t been paying attention to the actions of this Democratic congress, the Federal Reserve, and Obama’s many Czars.

PREPARATIONS FOR THE 2010 LOCAL CENSUS COUNT TOOK A STEP FORWARD TODAY (MONDAY) WITH THE FORMATION OF THE COMPLETE COUNT COMMITTEE, A GROUP OF LOCAL PUBLIC OFFICIALS, CIVIC LEADERS, AND MEDIA OUTLETS.
Census 2010
This report about the local census committee got me wondering who might be participating on it. I gotta wonder because the Census Bureau was tainted in February when Obama announced he was putting the Census under direct White House control. The bureau then cut off ACORN from having any involvement in the Census after it was found they are a thoroughly corrupt organization.
After some investigation, I was mildly surprised that a public Google group was created for use by the local complete count committee. Some basic materials have already been posted including Census FAQ sheets and timelines. Much more interesting is a page detailing sub-committee assignments for various pressure groups communities. Also published on the group is a link to several Census fact sheets each one aimed at a different pressure group partner. The fact sheets are fascinating reading especially when you compare differences. More on this later…
I think this is a good thing that Jim Creighton chose to leave the group open to the public. If the Census is done transparently there is always hope that the Census will be more accurate and less political despite the President’s hard left agenda.

Hugh Hewitt decided it was time to single out Senator Harry Reid because he is the Senate Majority Leader. Senator Reid’s re-election is in jeopardy. Hugh believes if the nation puts enough pressure on Senator Reid we can turn him from Obama’s agenda.
It’s a three step process that Mr. Hewitt is asking everyone to complete.
- Send Ten dollars to Dan Tarkanian’s campaign (Harry Reid’s opposition).
- Send a message to Senator Reid saying that you donated to his opposition. That you strongly oppose ObamaCare and that you promise to donate more to Tarkanian if Reid still supports ObamaCare.
- Add your donation to the running total on the TenForTark.com website.
If your looking for a tangible way to stop Obama donate to Harry Reid’s opposition!

The climate blasphemers continue multiplying. I reported on blasphemy popping up in Minnesota earlier but at the time The One’s Ministry of Truth had not been erected yet. Here again there is a man named David Powell that continues spreading the rumor that the Sun controls our weather more than humans do.

HE NOTES THE LAST TIME THERE WAS A VERY LONG SOLAR MINIMUM IT LASTED ABOUT SEVENTY YEARS AND RECENT DATA SHOWS THE EARTH’S SURFACE IS GETTING COOLER.
Dare he say! Obama will smite him instantly if he does not turn from his evil deeds!
Even though Cap n’ Trade legislation seems to be dead on arrival we should remember that government policy never dies. Cap and Trade will be put back on the shelf to wait for a more opportune moment.
