Self-sabotage, the world asplodes!
RCP: The CIA’s Fight With Obama – This seems a logical reaction by the CIA. I have to ask why is Obama making enemies with people who have advanced capabilities to bug rooms and leak damaging information? Powerline: Obama’s incoherent powder -Again Obama is alienating people whom he has rely on to guide his actions.
Many people myself included are very concerned about the many domestic changes that are happening lead by President Obama himself. However, what I see is a President that is following a path of self-sabotage. The lawyers whom he has to depend on will fail to give him an honest opinion. CIA agents within his own adminstration are now likely to be working against Obama as payback. Obama can’t possibly be an effective leader if his staff and cabinet don’t trust him or fear the consequences of the next President going on a witch hunt against Obama.
In the international arena the world has tested Obama and found him to be weak and flacid. Russia is on it’s way to annexing Georgia. Iran has decided Obama is no threat at all. Pakistan is fighting to maintain the nuclear football it owns. It’s no wonder Australia is stockpiling ammo and weapons. They see a major fight coming with China.
How safe do you feel now? Knowing that President Obama maintains an official appeasement policy toward the people who would destroy us. If you think danger can’t reach us here on America soil, in your own state, rolling into your own city, and crashing through your own front door. You forget that it’s already happened, it happened on 9/11/01 and it can happen again.
Educating More Little Obamas
I made a comment on HoptownHall in March regarding possible stimulus funding to build a new middle school.
[...] I also notice that building the new middle school is one of the leading projects. I swear if we have to rename CCMS to Obama Middle School because we took Federal funding that would be justification to get out the pitchforks and torches. /sarcasm
Contemplating the Obama Middle School of Christian county wasn’t a pleasant thought. The news now is that a school district in Minnesota is considering naming a elementary school after Obama.
The Saint Paul School Board is considering changing Webster Magnet to “Barack And Michelle Obama Service Learning Elementary School”.
Leaders at Webster Magnet School say they want their name change to reflect the school’s renewed focus on teaching students about community service.
One name being considered is the “Barack and Michelle Obama Service Learning Elementary School.” The other option is to call it “Webster Service Learning Elementary.”
The next amazing fact is that if Webster Magnet is renamed to the Obama School it’ll actually be the second school to be renamed. The Obama worship that is happening in contemporary society is very destructive to public debate. Public debate itself has been shaped to maintain a false range of choices. Couple this with the lack of mass education related to economics and history. It makes for a society that will welcome our new overlords.
Banks realize a raw deal from TARP
The banks thought they were going to get free money from the taxpayer but that was before Obama started changing the rules on a day-to-day basis. Once a bank signed on to accept this money they were then tied to every change in the political winds.
Signature Bank President and CEO Joseph DiPaolo said that terms imposed on TARP-funded banks “adversely affected our business model and it became apparent that we should return these funds to the Treasury. The return of these funds allows us to continue to execute our business model, which includes the successful recruitment and retention of highly talented banking professionals throughout the metropolitan New York area.”
Obviously the rhetoric about limiting executive compensation made an impression. I am surprised though that the banks have been allowed to return the money. According to the New York Times, the bank executives should give thanks to someone in Congress that slipped in a rule change to TARP.
