Watch for the spectacular ending. After they cross the finish line, Mrs. McGinnis spins out and hits Wix’s car.
Five clip montage of different races. I like it.

I didn’t stay to watch all of the soap box derby races. Too darn hot, but I was there long enough for a few photos and video.

Check out the video of the crazy collision that happened at the end of the track. Several of the oil can drivers dressed up in costume. Some examples were Snoopy and Beetle Bailey making an unexpected appearance.
Had a lot of fun watching the fourth annual soap box derby. I think the rain held off long enough for all the races to finish. I left before it was completely over but it didn’t start raining till a couple hours later. The highlight of the day was definitely the oil can races. A list of the race participants can be found at hopkinsvillesoapbox.com.
The Oil Can races are still yet to come. Will be posting that shortly.
The third annual Soap Box Derby in Hopkinsville was held today in downtown Hopkinsville. I was there for a couple of hours. I had the excellent idea to bring my camera. Here’s some of the photographs I took.
